Happy Birthday Hubby!

Doug turned 25 on Saturday! We had more of a low-key celebration this year by visiting some of Irvine's best. My plan was to take the birthday boy to the Great Park for a picnic and a hot air balloon ride. Sadly, the hot air balloon was shut down for the afternoon due to wind. So we took pictures in front of it and pretended that we rode it.

The balloon ride is offered for free, year-round, and I loved the jack-o-latern face they added for Halloween.

We took a stroll to see what all the park offered and found this ginormous bike.

Doug had to place me on it since it was so high. After seeing this picture, I told him that when picking up a girl, try to make a face that says, "wow! she is so light!" instead of what he is doing below.

Afterwards, we had our picnic by the carousel. We are cheeto-holics.

Then we went to a pumpkin patch and oohed and awwed over some adorable chicks.

And a goat.

We found an awesome pumpkin and the post on how we decorated it is coming soon! 

We also went to the Irvine Spectrum, my favorite shopping center...which may be because of the fact that dogs are allowed in the stores. Maisy LOVES this place.

There was lots of canoodling by the fountains.
