Family Trip: Part 1

I didn't take a ton of pictures while my family was here (still kicking myself for that!) but here's some from our first day, in L.A.

Rodeo Drive


Crumbs Bakery...I think it's my favorite cupcake so far! I did a happy dance when we walked past it and insisted that we get five one.

We ended the day at The Grove, my new favorite place in LA.  It is STUNNING at night!


The next day, we hung out in Irvine while everyone rested (half of us were sick!). We saw Midnight in Paris and also went to the Spectrum. It was good to have a chill day!

Then on Saturday, we headed towards San Diego and stopped in Del Mar for breakfast.





Then we went to the San Diego Zoo! But I took entirely too many pictures, so I'll just make that a post of its own.

    Sounds like you got a lot accomplished! Next time you're in Hollywood you have to try Frosted Cucpcakery. It's my fav :)

    And the Grove is the mall I shop at. It's so magical!

    I <3 the Groove. I shopped there all the time when I lived in LA. :)

    and my favorite cupcake place in LA?... Delilah's Bakery in Echo Park. It's so so good

    You WOULD take a picture of my two favorite cupcakes - red velvet and carrot. I'm dead.

    The picture of the sunset is SO beautiful. You're quite the photographer.
