Doug's Half Marathon! (And Celebrities!)

Last Sunday was a proud day for us! Doug completed his first half marathon! He did the Rock 'n Roll Marathon in Pasadena, and it turned out to be fun for both of us! Because....there were FAMOUS PEOPLE there! If you've read my blog for any amount of time, you'll know that I have a bit of an obsession with all things celebrity. And it just so happened that these celebs are stars of one of my all-time favorite shows, Grey's Anatomy!


That's right....Dr. Miranda Bailey, Alex Karev, and Teddy Altman were there! (AKA Chandra Wilson, Justin Chambers, and Kim Raver)

You could say that I flipped out. But that might be an understatement. 

Joey McIntyre (from NKOTB...duh) was also running the race!

    Awwww! CONGRATS, DOUG!!! That's so awesome!

    My dad used to do races ALL the time and I was always so bored waiting for him to finish...but I have a feeling that I'd be slightly more entertained if I saw Alex Karev walking around.

    Also? I totally would have PEED MY PANTS. I love Greys! And they all look so normal, and I'm happy to see them "hanging out" outside of work!

    Wow congrats to your husby! I've been following your blog for a while now..in fact, I can't even remember exactly how I stumbled upon it. I share your love (or obsession) for celebrities so I thoroughly enjoyed your past Bachelor posts. And now you meet 3 Grey's stars?!?! Too cool!

    FINALLY - you moved to California months ago; it was about time I'd see some celebs! BUT, I am not a Grey's fan, so get back out there and keep searching! ; )
