Christmas Card Scrapbook

I'm linking up with the Christmas Cheer party!

Holiday

Here's my craft- a Christmas Card Scrapbook!

I found a scrapbook at Target for $15 and some cheery scrapbook paper at Michael's for .50 a piece, and now I have a keepsake that we'll hopefully have for years to come!

And this year's card!
It says: "Snuggle up to the ones you love this holiday season!"

In other news, it's been raining in SoCal for the past week, so I bought Maisy some rain gear. Partially to keep her dry, but mostly for my amusement. Seriously, the girl is wearing rain boots. I die.

White Chicken Chili Recipe

While at home for Thanksgiving, my mom and I tried out a new recipe. (If you know either my mom or me, you know how surprising this is....we're not exactly the cooking type! :) Candace posted this White Chicken Chili recipe that sounded incredible, so we just had to try it. Turns out, it was incredibly easy and delicious!

Ingredients:
-1 pack of chicken breasts (Ours had 5 and were GIGANTIC, so we ended up taking 2 of them out before shredding)
-1 pack of McCormick's white chicken chili seasoning
-1 bag of Seasoning Blends (chopped onion, bell pepper, and red pepper from the frozen aisle)
-3-4 cans of any white beans
-1 block of cream cheese

Combine chicken, seasoning, seasoning blends, and beans in the crock pot. Cook on high for approx. 4 hours on high or 8 hours on low.
Once chicken is cooked, take it out to shred it and put it back in.
Cut the block of cream cheese into pieces and stir in until melted.
Garnish with your favorite toppings! We crumbled up tortilla chips and finished it off with shredded cheese.

Let me know if y'all try it, and go thank Candace for creating this amazing dish! And no post of mine would be complete without a cute animal picture. Meet Charlie, my parents' cat who is obsessed with flowers. These are fake and he still can't get enough!

DIY Stocking Holders

It seems that everyone is wanting to make their own stocking holders this year! My DIY Stocking Holders post from a couple years ago is quickly becoming my most viewed post, and since the pictures on there are really, really terrible, I decided to repost this (ridiculously) easy how-to with a picture that doesn't make me cringe!

The Supplies:
-Big ornaments (Mine were $2 at Hobby Lobby)
-Plain stocking holder ($3 at Walmart)
-Glue gun

All it takes is one drop of glue on each ornament and you have a beautiful, inexpensive stocking holder! I love this craft because you can literally find any ornament to match your decor!

Have you decked the halls yet? I spent all day yesterday making this place a winter wonderland- pictures to come soon!
