While at home for Thanksgiving, my mom and I tried out a new recipe. (If you know either my mom or me, you know how surprising this is....we're not exactly the cooking type! :)
Candace posted this White Chicken Chili recipe that sounded incredible, so we just had to try it. Turns out, it was incredibly easy
and delicious!
Ingredients:
-1 pack of chicken breasts (Ours had 5 and were GIGANTIC, so we ended up taking 2 of them out before shredding)
-1 pack of McCormick's white chicken chili seasoning
-1 bag of Seasoning Blends (chopped onion, bell pepper, and red pepper from the frozen aisle)
-3-4 cans of any white beans
-1 block of cream cheese
Combine chicken, seasoning, seasoning blends, and beans in the crock pot. Cook on high for approx. 4 hours on high or 8 hours on low.
Once chicken is cooked, take it out to shred it and put it back in.
Cut the block of cream cheese into pieces and stir in until melted.
Garnish with your favorite toppings! We crumbled up tortilla chips and finished it off with shredded cheese.
