Monday Ramblings

-Y'all, this weather is INCREDIBLE. I never want to leave California! It was in the 80's all last week, but now it's cooled down to perfection in the 70's. Yes please!

-As you've probably seen by now, I have a new design! I also changed a few things myself, like my new About Me page and Our Story page that you can find up at the top. I now have a button (on the left sidebar), and I created a Facebook page for my blog...I'm still not sure why or what I'm going to do with it, but if you want to "like" it, that would make me very happy! :)

-Last week I received a surprise package in the mail...my sweet blog friend, Brittany, sent me (and the babies) Christmas gifts! It put a big goofy smile on my face all day! Maisy and Pep LOVED their treats, and I cannot wait to make some pretty cake pops!! Aren't blog friends the best!? Thanks again, Britt!

-Now for a little TV talk. (SPOILER ALERT if you haven't watched the latest episodes!)
Grey's Anatomy last week had me in tears at the end when they got Zola back. I love MerDer so much!

And I'm sure you all are watching the Bachelor this season. Ben isn't my favorite bachelor, but the girls are definitely going to be entertaining this season. Poor Jenna...she is not made for reality TV!
My favorite girl so far is Kacie B, but I also like Lindzi, Nicki, and Jamie.

Thank the good Lord that Pretty Little Liars is back! It's one of my favorite shows ever, and last week's episode did not disappoint! Love these two!

-This may be weird, but it's too cute not to share. Whenever I go into the bathroom, I literally get swarmed by Maisy and Pep. They rub up against me, climb on me, and here they are laying at my feet.

Wednesday Ramblings

First up, a weekend recap! On Saturday, we went with our Georgia friends Jeremy and Emily to the UGA vs. USC basketball game. It was 'UGA Day' and we went to the Alumni reception at the amazing Town and Gown. And UGA won the game, so it was a great night!

On Sunday, I drove up to LA for the Blogger Brunch my friend, Joelle, hosted! We went to Taste on Melrose in West Hollywood, and it was delicious!

-I ADORE this new polish- Glitzerland by OPI. Have I mentioned how much I love glitter at Christmas time?

-Notice anything different around here? I got my first professional blog design and I couldn't be happier! I chose Smitten Blog Designs and Jacquelinne knew exactly what I was looking for.

-Doug and I saw New Year's Eve last week and I loved it! My favorite storyline was the Zac Efron one....so cute. I've heard mixed reviews about it, but I thought it was a happy chick flick that I'd love to see again.

-Our neighbors are petsitting for us again since we're going to Mississippi tomorrow to spend Christmas with Doug's family. To set up this story, you must know that this is their house:

So one of their boys came over yesterday...this was our conversation:
boy: I like your Christmas tree.
me: Thank you!
boy: Are the icicle lights the only outdoor lights you have?
me: Yup...we're kind of amateurs.
boy: Well my dad has some extra lights if you want to use them.

I thought that was SO adorable! It was his nice way of telling me our house looks boring! :)

-And lastly, Maisy has been sporting a new look.

The fur just kills me! They also had matching boots but Doug drew the line there. It's a shame, because Maisy's #1 on her Christmas list was 'boots with the furrrr"
