Glitter.

It's my favorite time of the year, which means my house is covered in glitter.

My new tree topper from Pier 1. Glitter and sequins. Perfection.

Somebody wanted to keep all the wreaths to himself.

This is Diego's first Christmas, and I knew he would be TROUBLE with the tree. He waits until the moment we get in bed, then starts his attack. Usually he knocks off ornaments and chases them around the house, but lately he has targeted the tree skirt. We never know where it'll be when we wake up! I bought a spray bottle to try and teach him to BACK AWAY FROM THE TREE, and it has worked pretty well....until we go to bed. Good thing he's cute!

And here's the ridiculously cute animal photo of the day. Diego giving Maisy her daily bath!

Christmas Card Scrapbook

I'm linking up with the Christmas Cheer party!

Holiday

Here's my craft- a Christmas Card Scrapbook!

I found a scrapbook at Target for $15 and some cheery scrapbook paper at Michael's for .50 a piece, and now I have a keepsake that we'll hopefully have for years to come!

And this year's card!
It says: "Snuggle up to the ones you love this holiday season!"

In other news, it's been raining in SoCal for the past week, so I bought Maisy some rain gear. Partially to keep her dry, but mostly for my amusement. Seriously, the girl is wearing rain boots. I die.

White Chicken Chili Recipe

While at home for Thanksgiving, my mom and I tried out a new recipe. (If you know either my mom or me, you know how surprising this is....we're not exactly the cooking type! :) Candace posted this White Chicken Chili recipe that sounded incredible, so we just had to try it. Turns out, it was incredibly easy and delicious!

Ingredients:
-1 pack of chicken breasts (Ours had 5 and were GIGANTIC, so we ended up taking 2 of them out before shredding)
-1 pack of McCormick's white chicken chili seasoning
-1 bag of Seasoning Blends (chopped onion, bell pepper, and red pepper from the frozen aisle)
-3-4 cans of any white beans
-1 block of cream cheese

Combine chicken, seasoning, seasoning blends, and beans in the crock pot. Cook on high for approx. 4 hours on high or 8 hours on low.
Once chicken is cooked, take it out to shred it and put it back in.
Cut the block of cream cheese into pieces and stir in until melted.
Garnish with your favorite toppings! We crumbled up tortilla chips and finished it off with shredded cheese.

Let me know if y'all try it, and go thank Candace for creating this amazing dish! And no post of mine would be complete without a cute animal picture. Meet Charlie, my parents' cat who is obsessed with flowers. These are fake and he still can't get enough!
