Fur Baby Friday: Bliss!

I've been seeing lots of bloggers post about their charity of choice, and I figured I needed to post mine as well!

This organization is the reason we have Maisy in our lives, so I am forever grateful to them! I started volunteering with Bliss Animal Haven over a year ago when we were living in Atlanta. Last November, I organized a fundraiser for them where I first met Maisy. You can read more of her story here.

Anyways, Bliss is an incredible rescue group that focuses on rescuing abused or neglected animals. They just rescued this pretty girl, Naiyah, whose former owner was abusive and broke her leg in 2 places.

They had to amputate her leg, but now she is doing very well and is learning to be a 3-legged dog :)

They are still trying to raise funds for Naiyah's surgery and recovery, so if you feel so inclined to give, you can go to Bliss's main page and click on the "Donate" link on the left! If you donate, please let me know!! :) Here are a few other cuties they rescued:

Happy Friday!

Christmas Card Scrapbook

Now that all of our Christmas cards have been sent out, I can show y'all the one I chose!

Merry Christmas to all of my sweet blog friends. Y'all mean more to me than you could know!

----------

Now for a little DIY Christmas craft. I wanted some way to save our past Christmas cards other than just putting them in a box and never seeing them. Insert scrapbook!

It's is the perfect coffee table accessory...I found the scrapbook at Target for under $10. And the paper was .50 each at Michael's.

I really wanted to find cute number stickers to use, but I couldn't find just numbers anywhere! I would have had to buy several packs of letters + numbers, ending up costing $15. So I was forced to write them....which is why it looks like a 4th grader penned it. If I find cheap number stickers, these will be replaced :)

And I have plenty of paper for the future cards!
